It’s no secret that everyone loves fall, and with the autumn season officially here that means there’s no shortage of festivals around the Middle Tennessee area! Take a look below at some of our favorite options you won’t want to miss this season!
Cheekwood Harvest | September 17th-October 30th
Nature is in full bloom at the Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art! They’re hosting their annual Harvest which offers visitors the opportunity to check out all of the fall blooms including chrysanthemums and the Robertson Ellis Color Garden. The Harvest will also feature the Japanese Moon Viewing Celebration on October 16th, and El Dia De Los Muertos on October 29th.
Americana Music Festival | September 20th-25th
The Americana Music Festival started Tuesday in Music City as artists, fans and industry members come together to celebrate! A conference, award ceremony and many many shows provide great entertainment for attendees. The Lumineers held two shows this week at Ascend Amphitheater as a part of AmericanaFest as well. Tennessee Craft Fair | September 23rd-25th
This year the Tennessee Craft fair will set up shop in the Centennial Park lawn for shoppers to check out the multitude of handmade items and gifts!
Artober in Nashville | All of October
Nashville wants to celebrate the arts this year during the month of October! There are abundant options from dance, music, visual arts and much more for everyone to enjoy throughout the month! Some features include the Nashville Symphony, Nashville Ballett, and exhibits at the Frist and Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
Celebrate Nashville Cultural Festival | October 1st
The Celebrate Nashville Cultural Festival is celebrating its 20th year this October! Stop by Centennial Park for a free festival with many different opportunities to learn and discover about different cultures around the world! The festival offers options for kids, teens, a market and village and performances as well!
Fall Fest | October 1st & 2nd
Fall fest is a free community event hosted at The Hermitage with many kid friendly activities offered along with live music and many shops and stands to browse! The festival will also feature a community art project that you don’t want to miss!
Nashville Oktoberfest | October 7th-9th
Oktoberfest in Nashville is held in Germantown! The fest is free admission to all and offers a parade, 5k race, free music, food and much more you won’t want to miss!
